As a proud and out leader in the LGBTQIA+ GNC Community, for many years, Kenny was a tireless activist for Gay & Trans rights. Kenny was an early vocal proponent for Marriage Equality in New York State. Indeed, he joined LGBTQIA+ GNC leaders in the state and took on the NYS Legislature on Marriage Equality. He and thousands of New Yorkers marched on Albany, lobbied legislators, held rallies & press conferences in The Bronx. On June 24, 2011, Kenny helped New York State make history adopting Marriage Equality for all. On June 27, 2015, The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Marriage Equality the law of the land.
