Take Part in Something Great.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words.

Kenny’s work in the New York State Senate has afforded him the opportunity to fight for real affordable housing, repealing of vacancy decontrol, GENDA, banning LGBTQIA+ conversion therapy, bail reform, right to counsel, right to a speedy trial, 50A, and the repeal of NYS CPL 240 in favor of an open, early, and automatic discovery law in New York. He is still working to release aging & non-violent people from prison, legalizing cannabis, halting solitary confinement, decriminalizing sex work, closing Riker’s Island, and reform policing.

Kenny joined the executive board of Discovery 4 Justice, organizing and agitating for much-needed reforms in criminal justice in New York. As a proud and out leader in the LGBTQIA+ GNC Community, for many years, Kenny was a tireless activist for Gay & Trans rights. Kenny was an early vocal proponent for Marriage Equality in New York State. Indeed, he joined LGBTQIA+ GNC leaders in the state and took on the NYS Legislature on Marriage Equality. He and thousands of New Yorkers marched on Albany, lobbied legislators, held rallies & press conferences in The Bronx. On June 24, 2011, Kenny helped New York State make history adopting Marriage Equality for all. On June 27, 2015, The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Marriage Equality the law of the land.
